About Us
The Y.K.M. College of Education was started in the year 1999-2000 in the memory of Late Sri Yarra Krishna Murthy, Ex.M.L.A., of Parvathipuram with the good intention of preparing good teachers. "The destiny of the nation is made in the class room" as said by the Kothari Commission in 1964. The teachers are destiny makers since it is they who teach in the class room. They can make or change the carrier of pupils. Architects, Scientists, Engineers and Politicians are made in the class room. So there is great responsibility on the teachers. Y.K.M.College of Education took the opportunity and undertook the responsibility of preparing good teachers.
It is situated at Maripivalasa which is at distance of 7 K.M. from Parvathipuram in ideal surroundings. The college is situated in 5 acres of land. A new building is also constructed and opened recently.The college has all facilities which are provided by the management.
Yerra Krishna Murty Educational Society -
The college committee also has been providing many facilities with moderate laboratory equipments as well as computer education for the welfare of the students and development of the institution with good intension.
